Harbor Avenue Waterfront Elevated Pier
North Bend, Oregon
The Harbor Avenue Waterfront Pier project was an important step toward reaching the City of North Bend's goal of revitalizing North Bend's historic waterfront area. This new elevated concrete waterfront pier provides important pedestrian access along Harbor Avenue and serves as a scenic tourist destination.
The path alignment, which was designed to be compatible with current use as well as a planned future expansion of the dock system, features a commercial-use dock as well as a multi-use path that can accommodate commercial vehicles. Path features include lighting, benches, bicycle racks, and decorative elements such as planters and attractive metal railings.
