The Hayden Bridge Filtration Plant is a 53-acre facility owned by the Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB), the primary provider of utilities to the Eugene community.
This $11.2 million expansion project included the design of a 15 million gallon rectangular concrete reservoir, pumping station, transformer building, sewer lines, and electrical upgrades.
The project was completed on time and within budget, and provided EWEB with a unique, high-efficiency pumping system that not only cut down on initial capital costs, but also reduced long-term operating costs.
OBEC has provided engineering services on twelve separate projects at EWEB's Hayden Bridge plant since 1994.
