OBEC exists to provide safe and efficient transportation systems and infrastructure that enhance our region while providing responsible stewardship of public funds. We are one of the few firms in Oregon with in-house capabilities to support every stage of infrastructure projects – from project management, permitting, design, and engineering through construction management.

PEACE OF MIND IN A COMPLEX PROCESS: As procurement of publically-funded projects has become more complex, our clients continually rely on OBEC as a single-source provider of integrated engineering, construction, and technical services. This full spectrum support includes site development and feasibility studies, funding support, environmental permitting and inter-agency consultation, preliminary and final design, construction estimating, inspection, and contract administration.

For nearly half a century, this diversified approach has enabled us to deliver strong results for our clients even through the most challenging economic environments.

RESPONDING TO YOUR NEEDS: Historically, projects we have managed vary widely in size and complexity from the $187 million Willamette River Bridge Replacement in Eugene to relatively smaller-scale trail design and repaving projects such as the Bear Creek Greenway connecting the cities of Central Point and Talent. Regardless of size, our capacity to get a comprehensive team on the job immediately and our integrated process involving all disciplines as design collaborators has proven critical to the success of our clients' projects.
