This dual street extension project provides enhanced transportation facilities along two streets in the City of Wilsonville, making a vital connection between residential areas, the popular Tri-Met Commuter Rail Project, and the industrial/commercial areas of the City.
Barber Street will be extended approximately 1,500 feet, providing a much-needed connection to an existing and soon-to-be-expanded light rail station. The Barber Street project includes a 410-foot multi-span bridge crossing wetlands and the historic Seely Ditch. The project also includes the addition of new bike lanes, street lighting, and sidewalks.
Kinsman Road will be extended roughly 2,400 feet, completing a vital truck route for the growing industrial/commercial areas of Wilsonville. The north end of Kinsman Road will include construction of a roundabout at the intersection with Boeckman Road. The project also includes construction of a 10-foot-wide multi-use path, bike lanes, street lighting, sidewalks, a 48-inch high pressure waterline serving Wilsonville and Sherwood, and wildlife crossings.
