The National Steel Bridge Alliance of Chicago awarded the Peter Courtney Minto Island Bridge top distinction in the “Special Purpose” category as part of its yearly Prize Bridge Awards. This is quite an honor for the Minto Island Bridge, the latest of OBEC’s signature cable-stayed pedestrian bridges, which has been in the works for decades.
Congratulations to the entire design and inspection teams for this award on a truly community-focused project!
