Description
On-Board was tasked with analyzing an accessible roof at a Delaware hospital.
The scope was to determine the feasibility of installing a deck on the roof that would support a social gathering, along with a cost estimate.

Scope of Work
Since this was an older building, and the roof was not designed for a larger gathering live load, On-Board had to determine the superstructure of the building without access to any drawings.
The new deck must span from wall to wall and then transfer the load to the building's foundation.
The Delaware Archives had a small portion, but not enough to feasibly design from.
Keys to Success
On-Board's personnel, willing to visit the site multiple times and track down documents from the Delaware Archives specifically for this task, was the key to the project's success.
For older buildings, existing drawings are often not available, so On-Board's willingness to go above and beyond to determine this information allowed for a more efficient project completion.
